True Vendors

Terms of service

Effective September 24, 2026.

These terms apply to the call answering service provided by True Vendors LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company, and are part of every service agreement that refers to them. A signed service agreement controls where it differs from these terms.

What the service does

True Vendors sets up an automated voice assistant that answers calls a customer's business doesn't pick up, such as calls that arrive while the line is busy, unanswered, out of signal, or after hours. The assistant finds out what the caller needs, records and transcribes the call, and sends the details to the customer. We also keep a call log and provide a monthly summary.

The assistant answers in your business's name, using the hours, service area, and prices you give us. It takes requests; it doesn't book jobs, promise arrival times, or quote outside ranges you approve. Keeping that information accurate is your responsibility.

You keep your own phone number. The service runs on call forwarding you turn on, and you can turn it off at any time.

This is not an emergency service

The assistant is not an emergency service and does not contact 911, fire departments, or utilities. When a caller describes a gas smell, fire, carbon monoxide alarm, or medical emergency, it tells them to get to safety and call 911 before anything else. Urgent repair calls are flagged to you as urgent; getting someone there is up to you.

Who can use it

The service is sold to businesses in the United States. The person signing up must be authorized to act for the business and must own or control the phone number being forwarded.

The free pilot

New customers start with a free pilot of the length stated in their service agreement, with a closeout meeting booked for its last day. The price that would apply afterward is agreed in writing before the pilot begins, but paid service starts only if you confirm, at or before closeout, that you're continuing. If you don't, we stop answering, help you turn off forwarding, and nothing is owed.

Fees and billing

Included usage

Monthly pricing covers the included minutes stated in your agreement. If usage runs well above that, we'll show you the call log and give 30 days' notice of the next tier. You can take it, forward fewer calls, or cancel without penalty. Tier changes are never retroactive.

Cancelling

The forwarding number

The number your calls forward to belongs to True Vendors. When service ends, turn off forwarding. We won't give that number to another customer for at least 90 days.

Customer responsibilities

Text messages

Call alerts by text are optional; alerts can go by email instead. Texts go to the mobile numbers a customer lists in the texting section of the sign-up form. Message frequency varies with call volume. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or email hello@truevendorsllc.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See the privacy policy for how we handle your information.

What we do not promise

We don't promise any amount of revenue, any number of jobs, or any result from using the service. Figures shown in reports as estimated value are estimates based on numbers the customer gives us, not earnings.

The service depends on phone carriers, internet connections, and outside software, and it can be interrupted. Alerts usually arrive within seconds, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, that every call will be answered, that every alert will be delivered, or that every detail captured from a caller will be accurate. You remain responsible for how your business responds to its own customers.

Responsibility for your own work

You agree to cover claims brought against True Vendors that arise from your own services to your customers, or from inaccurate business information you gave us.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, True Vendors is not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose.

Call records

Call records belong to the customer's business. We use them to run the service, and we hand them over or delete them on request, as described in the privacy policy.

Notices and changes

Notices go by email to the addresses on the service agreement. We may update these terms. The current version is posted here with its effective date, earlier versions are kept on file, and customers get email notice of significant changes before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Douglas County, Nebraska.
